Overseas SALTOSE Pro Trial Report
・Trial conducted by: Poultry Disease Research Center, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Cairo University
・Subjects: Broilers (Cobb)
・Each area n=510 1-35 days old
One milliliter of Salmonella Enteritidis solution (3 × 108/mL) was inoculated orally into 21-day-old test poultry. At the age of 28 days, feces of the test poultry were collected and the number of Salmonella Enteritidis bacteria was measured.
After collecting fecal samples from 21-day-old test chickens, 1 mL (1 × 109/mL) of Clostridium prefringens solution was inoculated orally. At 28 days of age, the feces of the test chickens were collected and the number of Clostridium perfringens bacteria was measured.
Fecal samples were collected from 15- and 21-day-old test chickens, and the number of Coccidia oocysts was measured.
For the 21-day-old test chickens, 1 mL (3 × 108/mL) of Coccidia solution was inoculated orally after fecal collection. Then, at the age of 31 days, feces of the test chickens were collected and the number of oocysts of Coccidia was measured.
